The Whole Earth Will Worship The Lord

Today’s Reading, Psalms 66-69

Focal Scripture: Psalms 66:3-4 “Say to God, “How awe-inspiring are your works! Your enemies will cringe before you because of your great strength. The whole earth will worship you and sing praise to you. They will sing praise to your name.”Selah”

Do you have a wonder for the Lord? Sometimes when life hits us we focus on the bad and not the greatness of our God. Here in this Psalm we see worship put into practice.

Hear these words! How awe inspiring are your works. Look around at the world and even our individual lives. God is awe inspiring. How he takes care of the details is truly amazing. The fact that we are alive and put together everyday is because he allows it and wills it.

Enemies will cringe before the Lord. Why? Because of his great strength. No enemy can stand before him. No enemy can stand and be successful. Faith in that changed everything.

Then we see that worship matters and the whole Earth will worship the Lord. How often do you truly worship? How often do you give the Lord all that you have? Deep worship is life changing. The problem is most people don’t truly worship or only worship when things are good. God wants worship and he deserves worship.

I challenge you to worship the Lord. Not just halfway worship but worship with full devotion. It will change everything about your life.

So whatever you’re facing today I challenge you to worship and worship passionately. Even when others don’t. You worship because he is worthy.

Tomorrow I plan on reading Psalms 70-73
