Today’s Reading, Psalms 32-35
Focal Scripture: Psalms 33:4-5 “For the word of the Lord is right, and all his work is trustworthy. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the Lord’s unfailing love.”
Knowing that we serve a God we can trust is a great comfort. He is perfect and his ways are good. Even when we don’t understand them completely. His words are right and lead to truth. Which transforms lives.
God’s works are trustworthy even when we don’t understand what is going on and happening around us. Even when things seem to fall apart, God is still working.
God also one righteousness and justice. He does what is right always and justice will be delivered. That is a comforting thought. It is not dependent on me. He will fulfill these attributes.
Finally, we see that the Earth is full of his unfailing love. That is a thought worth holding onto. His love never fails. It will accomplish its goal. Which also means that we have no excuse to not receive this love.
What does this all mean for believers? Trust God. He knows what he is doing. He is changing lives and loves people. Even if it looks like everything is falling apart around us God is good.
Remember, the lord is trustworthy.
